Don't Forget Jesus

So Saturday and Sunday were amazing. I can't really remember everything because my brain's just about fried from lack of sleep and too much activity slash caffeine. But here's the stuff I do remember:

Saturday:

Went to Autumn's and hung out, hit up some thrift stores together, then Wal-mart, looked around in Rue 21, then went home, got ready for play rehearsal, then went to our rehearsal. It seemed long, but went well. Autumn, Shannon, and I had been craving Starbucks since the last time we went a couple days prior, so Chad and Diana took us on a date to our favorite *bucks. There we met up with Ashley and Amber. The caffeine didn't have the same effect on me as it did on my rendezvous with Nessa the other night, but that's okay. After Starbucks Amber and Ashley took us all to Autumn's.

The night was really fun and full of more inside jokes, of course :D And we all got drinks except Chad because, "coffee's gay." Hahah:) Here's a pic during our outing in Hemet:

And a pic from the night at rehearsal:

And a pic from *bucks:

Shannon grabbed my glasses and was pretending to be a guy with a long pony tail who sits in coffee shops reading poetry:

Sunday:
Went great:) Ashley, Shannon, Amber, and I slept over Autumn's on Saturday and didn't go to bed until 2ish so we were all a little tired when it was time to wake up for church, but we managed. After church Autumn came over for lunch which was amazing because mom and dad made amazing carne asada tacos, Autumn's first time having it. She loved it, but who doesn't? After we ate we got ready for the play and Autumn did Shannon's and my hair, that's why it looked awesome:)

The play went awesome:) And I'd do it all over again if I could. After the play we all hung out at the after party/hang out. And it was fun:) After the after party, me, Shannon, John, Amber, and Autumn, all went over to Ashley's and hung out for a little bit. After her house, we all went over to my house and played cards for a while and it was intense and super fun, hahah. It was around ten or something when we stopped. And my house was really hot so we decided to go on a drive. Amber drove us to Taco Bell and we got stuff then hung out then we dropped Autumn off, then came back to my house then everyone departed from there.

My weekend was far more in-depth, but I that's all I can remember. I just know it was a lot of fun and I can't stop thanking God for everyone He's invested in my life. Just another amazing weekend...

*bucks.

Yesterday was fun!

And I'm very pleased. This is Day 2 of the "Blogging Once A Day Experience," and I have had two events to blog about thus far.

My day consisted of waking up nice and early, baby sitting some really cute kids, then coming home and ended the day by going on facebook for a little bit. At least, I thought my day was over, but when I look back at it, I feel it had really just begun.

I was planning on hanging out with Autumn at my place, but Nessa came over before Autumn did, for a lovely surprise visit. And oh do I love those surprise visits <3 We hung out for a couple hours then, at 6, it was time for her to go because she had made prior plans for later. Her plans were to pick up a friend and go to Starbucks and chill for a while, and generously invited me and Shannon along for the evening.

Very rarely do I pass up the invitation to go to our favorite Starbucks in Hemet, so of course I said yes! (And I use the exclamation point because it just makes sense when talking about Starbucks, seeing how exciting coffee is, hahah.) So anyways, we didn't forget about Autumn, because Nessa nicely asked if she wanted to come too. Luckily, Autumn and I share the same neighborhood so it wasn't anything less than convenient to pick her up along the way.

After we picked Autumn up, we drove to get Gina, Nessa's lovely friend. So we drove with a full car to Starbucks and had a great time, something that benefited us all. It was already later in the evening by the time we got there so I didn't want to go heavy on the caffeine, but went for the Venti Caffe Americano anyways; I was in the mood for some caffeine. Sort of a mistake because after I finished mine at the end of the evening, I drank half of Nessa's seeing as we both bought the same drink, lol. Let's just say I could certainly feel the caffeine flow through my veins, a strange sensation, indeed.

At Starbucks we indulged in numerous amounts of randomtalk, the best kind of talk:) I feel really blessed about last night. I wasn't the only who met a new person. In fact, we all met someone new. Nessa met Autumn, Autumn met Nessa; and we were all acquainted to Gina, Nessa's friend:)

Two hours and more than a few pictures later, we finally called it a night. And what a night it was. Nessa drove me, Shannon, and Autumn to my house, then bid us farewell. We hung out for a little while, and then Autumn went home.

We have plans to hang out today, and I can't wait:)

Random Outing

Well it's been over a month since my last post, which is not as pathetic of a time gap as my older posts. Some of those were around 5 months apart. So I think I'm getting better at this. And I plan to post more just because.

About a week and a half ago Shannon, John and I went to my friend Autumn's play at her high school, and met up with my dear friends Chad and Diana:) The play was hilarious mostly because we managed to fill up the evening with many Twss'. And also because the acting was different and Autumn's part was equally awkward as much as it was funny. The play consisted of random skits, some of them I couldn't grasp the meaning of. I enjoyed it none the less, and I'm glad I went.

We ended the night with Chad and Diana taking me and Shannon home. And you know how that goes: non stop laughter and random conversations about almost everything, hahah.

A photo to remember the night:

My Thought For The Week

I was sitting in my bed last week just pondering God's word and this thought occured: The enemy plans to destroy us but God's plan is so much bigger and powerful than all. This thought lingered for a couple days, then last night while doing my devotions I was excited to read, "The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations." Psalm 33:10-11. This kinda went with my thought on God's plans because God already has a plan for the universe, and He will persue His plans no matter what. Just thought I would share. God never ceases to amaze me:)

Don't Blame Me, I Voted For McCain (That is if I was eligible to do so)

To Whom It May Concern:

"All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations will worship and bow down before Him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations. Psalm 22:27-28"

So you can keep saying America isn't a God-based nation. And you can keep promoting that we aren't God-based to suck up to the Islamic nations...but just so you know...GOD WILL have ALL the victory and glory in the end. Congrats on your "Nobel Peace Prize"...it MEANS nothing. God sovereign forever and ever and ever.

Yesterday was fun! We celebrated Angelica's birthday by having cake at home, then going surfing. We were going to surf on Beryl, but had a late start and got stuck in traffic so we just surfed in Oceanside. By the time we got there it was already 4, and high tide. We ran right into to freezing ocean and starting surfing right away :) At first it was freezing...but I concluded that after going under 3 times you would think, "It's not that bad."...then after 5 dunks you would be completely used to it.

After surfing, we headed down to San Diego, where we went to our favorite pizza place, Filippi's. It was great.

Calm Yourself

Cleaning the backyard the other day, I was suprised to find a little praying mantis:) He was so cute and little, I had to capture him.
After I let him go I went back to gardening and discovered a family of the little creatures:) some were even smaller.

Pretty As A Flower.

We've been without the sun for about a week now,
and so far I like it as much as my sunflowers

Which is not so much because I despise gloomy weather just as much as I despise feeling gloomy.

On another note, the roses, orange flowers, and white flowers (with purple), seem to be enjoying the gloomy weather...they seem to like their break from the scorching rays of the sun, (also known as a fire ball in ealry times.)

I can't wait until the sun decides to shine, and my sunflowers decide to wake up ^.^
